Winnie Morenz, DVM
Dr. Winnie Morenz, DVM opened Park Place Veterinary Hospital in 1990 with a goal of providing great service to pets and their owners of the surrounding communities. She grew up in Pittsfield, MA in a large family. After graduating from UNH in 1982, she attended the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1988. Winnie and her husband Ed have three children and live in Swanzey. Her hobbies include tennis, running, skiing and ice hockey. She enjoys any and all outdoor activities.

Kathy Reilly, DVM
Dr. Kathy Reilly, DVM decided to become an animal doctor when she was in 4th grade, she joined the PPVH team in 2008d. She grew up in Massachusetts, but chose UNH for her undergraduate studies. After graduating from UNH, Dr. Reilly attended the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1990 (where she was roommates with Dr. Morenz for the first two years). She is active in organized veterinary medicine. Kathy is a delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Monadnock Humane Society. She lives with her kitty Betty and likes to golf and kayak in her spare time.

Carla Folkert, DVM
Dr. Carla Folkert, DVM has been in Keene for 20 years and joined the PPVH team in 2009. She grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and attended Iowa State University graduating with a BS in 1982 and Veterinary School in 1986. She practiced in Topsfield Massachusetts until 1991 when she moved to Keene. She has been active with the Monadock Humane Society since 1992, twice serving as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Carla and her husband have two children. She enjoys gardening, kayaking, crafts and any activity with her family.

Melanie Petersen
Melanie has been a Veterinary Technician for 19 years she joined the PPVH team in 2000. She lives with her two dogs and two birds. Melanie is a talented water color artist her artwork has been displayed locally at many locations. Her other hobbies include gardening, anything crafty, reading, hiking, camping, snow shoeing and cross country skiing.

Karen Guyette
Karen lives in Spofford with her husband, three dogs and two cats. Before joining the PPVH team in 2002, she was the Shelter Manager at Monadnock Humane Society for nine years. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1981 with a BS in Animal Technology. She volunteers on the Board of Trustees for the Chesterfield Public Library and was a volunteer EMT on the Spofford Fire Department for 20 years. Her hobbies include baking, gardening, reading, camping and the ocean beaches.

Brenda Goedicke
Brenda has lived in Swanzey her entire life. Brenda worked at the Monadnock Humane Society, until she joined the PPVH team in 2002. She has always had a love for animals so this position was a natural choice for her. Brenda has two sons and a darling granddaughter, who is the apple of her eye. Brenda's hobbies include motorcycle riding and music.

Heather Myers
Heather has always loved working with animals. Before joining the PPVH team in 2007, she had been in the business of pet sitting and boarding. During this time she completed her degree from Penn Foster as a Veterinary Technician. Heather is married and has many hobbies which include music, scrap booking, gardening, dancing, traveling and antiquing. She also loves to watch movies and loves being in the outdoors!

Kerriann Harrington
Kerriann has a Bachelor in Computer Science an Associate in Chemical Dependency and is a few credits away from an MBA. She joined the PPVH team in 2011. Kerriann lives with her husband, son, two dogs, three cats and chickens. She enjoys growing and raising her own food. She wholeheartedly agrees with the "Pay it Forward" motto.

Debbie Luopa
Debbie is married and has two daughters and one beautiful granddaughter. Before joining the PPVH team in 2003, she owned and operated a pet grooming and pet grooming publication business for 11 years. Her hobbies include crafting, reading, gardening, bird watching and fishing.

Meagan Underwood-Smith Ekholm
Meagan is married and attends River Valley Community College. She lives with her husband, dog and three cats. Before joining the PPVH team in 2005, Meagan worked at a Veterinary Hospital in Nashua for three years. She has many hobbies including camping, hiking, gardening, dancing, reading and listening to music.

Joyce Hanrahan
Joyce has been in the veterinary field as a receptionist and/or technician for over 20 years, she joined the PPVH team in 2008. She has two wonderful daughters that are grown, she loves to visit them. She has been doing Wildlife Rehabilitation for many years and does part-time pet sitting. Her hobbies include anything that involves animals, outdoor activities, listening to music and traveling.
